Franklin University and Oxford International Development Group sign Memorandum of University for Iranian Medical and Public Diplomacy Events and Programs in Lugano

August 25, 2017, Franklin University Switzerland (FUS), located in Lugano, and Oxford International Development Group, Oxford, MS, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to jointly organize workshops, seminars, and conferences of interest and benefit for Iranian medical students and physicians.  In addition to the educational focus, events also will provide an opportunity for Franklin Univesity faculty, students, and the greater community of Lugano to meet and engage in positive people-to-people exchanges with Iranians to build better understanding of, and appreciation for, our respective cultures.

Franklin University is an acknowledged leader among small private American-international liberal arts universities in Europe, and has focused on providing opportunities for global learning since its founding in 1969. With more than 60 nations represented in its student body of approximately 350 students and a residential campus in the only exclusively Italian-speaking Canton of Switzerland, Franklin provides a unique international liberal education that combines structured classroom and experiential learning.

Programs are expected to commence in the Fall of 2018 and be held on the Franklin University campus and venues in Lugano.
